Since 1997, Blue Box Design (UK) Ltd has been run with strong ethical principles. We are totally committed to using sustainable and recycled resources when and wherever possible.

Recycle and reuse
We actively:
• Recycle paper and cardboard.
• CD-Roms and cases.
• Printer cartridges and toners.
• Envelopes & Jiffy bags - where possible.
• Boxs and Pallets.
• Draft prints are reused as internal scrap
paper, apart from old client confidential material
which is security shredded and recycled.
• Biodegradable washing up liquid and
eco-friendly detergents and ozone-friendly cleaning products are only used.

Save on energy
We always:
• Turn off all computers, monitors and photocopiers and lights when not in use.
• Turn off all electronic equipment and lights over night apart from the back-up server.
• Air conditioning units and heating are operated
by timer and is reset monthly.
• Encourage all staff to use public modes of transport or emission-free forms of transport if possible, and to operate a car-share system for those with similar routes to work.
• Send electronically all reports, correspondence, visuals and artwork where possible.
